4 day intesiv seminar of the UFEWT in Paris with Sifu Marcus Schüssler

A four day seminar organized by the french WingTsun union of the UFEWT took place in Paris during the time of july 6 to 9 under the tutelage of Sifu Marcus Schüssler. He was supported by the presence of André Schade who prsides the UFEWT (Union Francaise pour le WT et l'Escrima).
Because of the before launched publicity a team of tunesian KungFu/WuShu instructors announced their participation of the complete four days through an intermediary from Paris. Unfortunately shortly before their take off the trip was cancelled because of travel complications so that the visit had to be deferred.
Aside from [participants from the area of the Alsace, Paris and the vicinity of Paris the TaeKwon Do instructor Gilbert Morvan came all the way from Marseille in order to learn first steps in WingTsun. He passed his first student grade test after the four days and intends to prepare himself intensively for the
starting of WingTsun teaching activities in his club within the next year.
Through countless discussions in the evenings and during the seminar a new idea was borne as well: the school under the tutelage of President André Schade in Mulhouse will act more strongly as the educational center for middle and south France as his school offers marvelous possibilities to reduce the side costs of
the education like food and lodging to a very small degree. The school offers a dormitory possibility, a small kitchen corner in combination with adjacent groceries, a shower, etc. By this the educational side costs can be reduced strongly what is very positive for those who like to get themselves trained intensively
for a whole week in order to progress much faster and by thus gives them much better perspectives.
For the first two days the training was conducted in the WuShu center of Dr.Jian, in the remaining days the training location happened to be the Park Des Butes Chaumont where regularly martial artists from of all kinds meet and train. Through this occasion direct contacts to martial artists present were taken
who were invited to experience WingTsun during an introductary seminar in september.
This seminar was the opening venue for an annual summer intensiv seminar series in Paris. The particular charm of the international metropolis will also attract many german WingTsun fans to Paris as the possibilities of activities around the seminar are vast.
